Cirque du Soleil returns to London’s Royal Albert Hall with the European Premiere of LUZIA, a waking dream of Mexico.
Escape to an imaginary Mexico – a sumptuous world suspended between dreams and reality. Smoothly passing from an old movie set to the ocean to a smoky dance hall or an arid desert, LUZIA cleverly brings to the stage multiple places, faces and sounds of Mexico taken from both tradition and modernity. The delightfully imaginative and visually stunning show will see brand new acts and breath-taking production, never before used by Cirque du Soleil at The Royal Albert Hall, including incorporating rain into acrobatic and artistic scenes.
The arrival of LUZIA next year marks 30 years since Cirque du Soleil first brought its captivating magic and awe-inspiring acrobatics to the UK. Cirque du Soleil’s World renowned circus has brought wonder and delight to over 150 million people in more than 300 cities and 6 continents.

We thoroughly enjoyed the performance on Saturday. We thought the waterfall was stunning.
It was my first Cirque du Soleil show and I had no expectations. The performance was amazing and the acrobatics breathtaking. We had amazing seats and could see everything perfectly. Wholeheartedly recommended and I can hardly wait to see another show!
The show was amazing. Definitely something different and the stunts were breath taking. Been to the cirque before and will definitely go again.
Absolutely brilliant well worth booking would consider watching it again
Absolutely loved it. Amazing show. The best.
I enjoyed the show, but was not as good as Totem, which was excellent. There was too much messing about with the comedy element, ie. throwing a beach ball into the audience and communicating with the audience by blowing a whistle at them and not enough good acts.
This was above expectations, just brilliant
An underwhelming juggler, acrobatics, and a contortionist. And a clown better suited to a children’s party. The show relies too much on spectacle but costumes and props can’t carry the show for 2 hours unless it’s for children. Come on Cirque du Soleil. We can see as much at a carnival or a television talent show. Can you please push the envelope a bit on originality and derring do? The 3 stars are only for the second half of the show.
Enjoyed particularly the contortionist & the Free Style Footballers & the Swing display - like seeing new skills/stunts not see before.
We are cirque du Soleil fans and we really enjoy all of their shows but Luzia was amazing; the songs and the entire show was fantastic. Can't wait for the next show❤️❤️
First time seeing cirque de Soleil. Didnt disappoint. Absolutely brilliant. The whole cast was amazing
There is little words to explain the experience of watching such a wonderful show, but breathtaking sums it up beautifully
show and performance, live music, costumes were amazing as usual, overall experience was great, i enjoyed it! You always try to introduce something new, this time was that waterfall special effect to me! And big thanks to clown, they never failed to make me laugh! (I remember cracking with laugh in Kooza too!) as much as I been to your shows, it is always a kind of emphasis either on decorations/spec.effects or acrobatic elements. in Avatar, say, the emphasis was on decorations and special effects rather than acrobatics. But this not to belittle the overall value of show. Big thanks to guys for their performances, I know it is a hard work!
Brilliant as always
Cirque du Soleil never fails to surprise and thrill with the acrobatics and costumes. Set in London’s Royal Albert Hall is so fitting for such an incredible show. This is the second year in the row I have taken my family to see the show and we were all completely wowed once again. A must!
Stunning show as always with Cirque du Soleil
Every year we try and see Cirque du Soleil. This show LUZIA was absolutely amazing! The Royal Albert Hall is an incredible venue.
The whole family loved this -age ranging from 9 to 40-something! Beautifully executed, full of colour, light and creativity. We were very high up and it would've been better to be lower down but it didn't spoil the show. The venue is always a delight to visit. The only negative would be that the programme was £20 and the confectionary and drinks were extortionately priced at the bar; always the case at the theatre, I know.
Magical show - full of beauty and wonder. Many heart in the mouth moments too.
You captured the magic of Mexico through music, colour, imagery and breathtaking daring.
I attended the 3pm show on the 20th February accompanied by my 8 year old Son. I found the show very moving and at one point shed a tear. Some of the acts are so risky and literally have you sitting on the edge of your chair. The only little complaint I have about this show is that the comedian character "clown" takes up a lot of the show, which I know he is needed to fill in a lot of the areas where the stage is totally transformed for the rest of the show. I yawned a few times when he was on the stage and so did my Son. Maybe try putting a dance act on stage to fill the dance act. Other than that the show was absolutely amazing and I highly recommend it to everybody.
Spectacular. Daring display of acrobatic excellence with humour. Only concern was the short interruption.
Amazing performance and not disappointed. It did start off a bit slow, but as the performance went on... it got better. Amazed with the props also. Would definitely love to see another cirque du soleil show in the future.
We were expecting a fabulous show and we got it! It kept us on the edge of our seats throughout - "Surely he's not going to...? - but he did! "How is it possible to do that?" - but we had just watched her do it, time and again! And we loved the beautiful horse and thirsty leopard, who lapped the water in the pool with his tongue! Thank you for a fantastic afternoon!
Absolutely amazing as always. A remarkable group of individuals. Very brave very talented. Thank you
Fantastic from start to finish. Very vibrant, very funny clown all well orchestrated throughout. Something for the whole family. EXCELLENT well done.
Unlike its predecessors, we found this rather slow and a bit boring other than the sheet of water that caused some sensation. The performers were excellent but the show lacked a certain oomph.
Fantastic show first time seeing Cirque du soleil. Will definitely be there next year
Brilliant- just a shame others don’t go for the pure enjoyment but feel the need to photo and film the whole performance, at times ruining for the ones sat directly behind them. Wish they have a no phones policy!
Great performances - what amazing athletes and entertainers- slightly odd interludes between the action with cacti etc - a feel good show but for me slightly disjointed. Plus too far away to get the full impact.
We took our boys for my sons 13th birthday and we all sat mesmerised the whole way through. The whole show was incredible a pure delight. The sheer strength and timing of the performers is mind blowing. The costumes, theme, music what a wonderful way to spend a special evening and make memories that will stay with us all forever. A must see!
I have been seen several CDS shows to date but this is one of their weakest. Story, music, tricks, acrobatics, etc all felt lacklustre compared to their other shows. Disappointing given the high price the ticket commands...
The show was wonderful, from the music, costume, set design, outstanding water features and the magical acrobatics.
Unbelievable show, amazing sound, visuals and talent! This show appeals to all of your senses and is just superb! We were at their show last year also, the theme was different but was also an amazing show. We have great time and I can't recommend this show enough...
A party of 10 and we all loved it. Quite amazing.
two words only ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL!
Just a breathtaking and amazing show. Good mix of acts, music and humour. Very clever and exceptional well delivered.
The show was fantastic ..... the seats (Row 1 15 and 16) for a 6'4 man not of slight frame, were excruciatingly painful.
Massive and enjoyable
Book this last minute not really knowing what it was about, and we weren’t disappointed. Absolutely unbelievable. The skill involved is beyond human. Your heart is in your mouth most of the time. Well worth the money.
It was spectacular, exciting and breathtaking.
Ive seen alot of Cirque du soleil shows and I have to say this is one of the most colourful ones. Loved the water fall Horse and Beautiful leopard. Thanks again for a great show.
The show was very good and entertaining. My 20 year old son and I enjoyed it immensely. We go every year to the Royal Albert Hall to see the Cirque du Soleil shows and we have never been disappointed. I highly recommend it!
Just incredible. Reccommended to all.
An absolutely breath taking experience. Completely mesmerized with the levels of human dexterity showcased with perfection, elegance, grace and beauty. Kudos to the talented team.
My first ever show and I had a blast. The venue was easy yo find and amazing in it's own right and the show was WOW. I highly recommend you go to see it
Had a lovely time. Suitable for all ages and tastes
This was our first Cirque Du Soleil show and it exceeded our expectations in every way. We enjoyed every moment and 2 hours flew by. Can't wait to see them again.
