What Is TINA About?
Rock legend Tina Turner has won 11 Grammy Awards. Her live concerts have been seen by millions. She’s sold more concert tickets than any other solo performer in music history. But where did the Queen of Rock ‘n’ Roll get her start?
TINA, The Tina Turner Musical traces the rockstar from her humble beginnings in Nutbush, Tennessee, all the way through to her transformation into an icon of the music world. Presented in association with Turner herself, this new musical tells the story of a woman who didn’t just break the rules, but rewrote them – defying the bounds of age, race, and gender time and time again.

Superb. What a story and what a cast - it evokes the entire spectrum of emotion. It will make newcomers love Tina and long term fans love her more.
Took my mum she had the best time, at 80 years old, couldn’t wait to jump up and dance and sing. The actors put in 110% of energy. Date we say Simply the best !!
Fabulous show. Full of energy. Super cast and “ Tina “ is wonderful. The last 15 mins of the show felt as if you were at a Tina Turner gig. would happily go and see it again. Highly recommended.
Brilliant performances by all the cast, Tina in particular was outstanding her voice was amazing. Highly recommend this musical.
A great portrayal of Tina’s life played superbly by a very talented cast. One of the best shows we’ve experienced in a long time. Left the theatre tingling with excitement.

By far the BEST musical I've seen in a long time...the music was amazing and the acting was brilliant and as far as the leading lady who played Tina Turner well she was incredible with an amazing voice....thoroughly enjoyable evening was so sad when it finished.

Really good show, we all enjoyed it.
I really enjoyed the show. I have now told my kids they have got to see it . It is truly wonderful play. The theme were amazing. I am hoping to see it again.
Really enjoyed the show, but the theatre was way to warm and very uncomfortable !
the story is the one i knew, from her early dealings with ike to "simply the best" and , having seen the lady herself in concert, it was great hearing her tunes again in an "historical" show . bless the lead lady , no one gets close , but her portrayal of tina was excellent. we loved the show.
Great show - excellent talent! Throughly enjoyed the show and all the songs put across so well. Drawback: People going back and forth to the bar buying drinks or going to the toilet throughout show. Please - for everyone's enjoyment and theatre etiquette close the bar at least until the proper interval!
It was the best ive ever seen. Tina was outstanding
4 of us went to a matinee of Tina for a 50th Birthday and we left in total Euphoria! We cried laughed and felt the power of the songs through the outstanding cast and production! Totally true talent on the stage, outstanding!!!
WOW! Four of us went to see this amazing spectacle at the wonderfull Aldwich theatre and came out with tears of sadness and joy in our eyes feeling elated, uplifted and worn out. Absolutely the best musical I have seen. Simply stunning.
It was brilliant , best show I have seen, my2 sisters, niece, and my brother and his wife all went and we had the best day out from start to finish , singing and dancing was great .
I went to this performance with 5 of my girlfriends and we weren’t disappointed. Amazing from start to finish, the singing and performances from all of the actors and actresses was second to none!! Cannot recommend enough... didn’t want the show to end. At the end we were all allowed to stand up and dance and sing along, which was brilliant!!
A very good story of the life of Tina Turner with her music.
Amazing! Interesting and well told story, awesome singers and dancers. Must see show!
No need for many words by far the best show I’ve seen super energy lead act was mega ! Highly recommended ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Amazing show brilliant performance
Outstanding performance would highly recommend going to this show would love to go again.
Really fantastic show - actress who played Tina was excellent- voice was just like Tina & got all the moves!! Best to get interval drinks at the start as there's a big queue !! Really good evening.
Had such a good night, great story of her life. Seats were perfect we were in the dress circle, row k. It’s great that they get the crowd up at the end for a song and dance, loved it!! :-)
Loved it from start to finish, singing was amazing
The start is slow but necessary to get the background to her life. However, by the end you are dancing and singing along. "Tina" is amazing. Her voice and mannerisms could be the real thing. The energy of the performance by all the actors and especially the backing singers is incredible.
Thoroughly enjoyed this musical. Would recommend to any Tina Turner fan
We thoroughly enjoyed Tina The Musical. We knew her life story slightly which helped but it was depicted well. Excellent acting and wonderful singing.
This is my first trip to London I purchased tickets to six shows and Tina was Simply The Best by far. Her life story is amazing as was the production.
Lead actress was electric
The best show i have ever seen. Terrific energy. Fantastic voice. Brilliant storyline. Very highly recommend.
A great show, although at times there were weak songs and occasionally out of tune vocals. Loved the scenery and backdrops. The show wasn’t as good as I thought it was going to be and only had the ‘wow’ factor at the end.
What a wonderful musical - such a sad tale told via astounding music. The talent of the cast was breathtaking!
What an absolutely cracking show. The cast are brilliant, and the venue superb. A must see for anyone and everyone.
Fabulous theatre trip. Booked last minute and got great seats in the stalls. Will definitely be going again. I loved every second of it. Didn’t want it to end!!!!
Didn’t enjoy this show at all. Sound system ear piercing. Musicians were excellent but music too loud it drowned the singers voices. Not anything I can say good about this show. Sorry
