Featuring her much-loved songs, TINA, The Tina Turner Musical is written by Olivier Award-winning playwright Katori Hall and directed by the internationally acclaimed Phyllida Lloyd.
Don’t miss this world premiere playing at London’s Aldwych Theatre!
What Is TINA About?
Rock legend Tina Turner has won 11 Grammy Awards. Her live concerts have been seen by millions. She’s sold more concert tickets than any other solo performer in music history. But where did the Queen of Rock ‘n’ Roll get her start?
TINA, The Tina Turner Musical traces the rockstar from her humble beginnings in Nutbush, Tennessee, all the way through to her transformation into an icon of the music world. Presented in association with Turner herself, this new musical tells the story of a woman who didn’t just break the rules, but rewrote them – defying the bounds of age, race, and gender time and time again.

Great show great insight into Tina's life, I treated my daughter for her 17th birthday and my wife who's birthday it is on 29th however when we got to the theatre our lovely day turned into a nightmare by being spoken to like a piece of something on the young jumped up barmans shoe!!!. I did complain to manager as this guy spoke to me like I was 5yrs old?? All because he was under pressure and looked like he just didn't want to be there?. Not sure what the outcome was after the manager got involved but I would hope this chip on his shoulder bloke got sacked as he deserved to be!!. People that were behind me in the que for the bar was astounded the way he spoke to me!. Avoid the jumped up little twat in the bar on the top floor!!.
Fantastic show! We all thoroughly enjoyed it and appreciated some time at the end to sing along and celebrate the life of such an amazing lady - an encouragement to many women who find themselves in an abusive relationship.
Thoroughly enjoyed the show. So much energy, it was electrifying. I know I will see this show again!(:)
The show itself was magic
Enjoyed show. Tina Turner was brilliant.
Absolutely brilliant show. We loved every minute of it. Well done the whole cast, especially TINA. Thank you
Fascinating story of the life of Tina Turner and her rise to fame. The singers and particularly the lead playing Tina herself were amazing. Highly recommended.
Although I like Tina turner music I wasn’t a complete fanatic but I am now ! I have been to many musicals and this is by far the best I have ever seen emotional story clever staging fantastic singers a breathtaking performance. Absolutely Loved it
Absolutely amazing!!!!! What a cast I can’t recommend it enough

Took my 85yr old dad to see this show he absolutely loved it. The girl who played Tina had an amazing voice & so much energy. I did miss being able to sing along during the show though.
One of the best shows I’ve seen been twice now and would absolutely go again brilliant show great music story dancing perfect feel good show you won’t be disappointed even if you’re not Tina turners biggest fan
Had heard it was a brilliant show, and it lived up to all expectations and beyond! It was fabulous, thoroughly enjoyed it and would love to see it again.
Tina was thoroughly entertaining. What a sensational show. I would absolutely recommend it. The cast are amazing.
Brilliant show highly recommended all the cast were great 5 star rating.
Excellent show. Outstanding ADRIENNE WARREN is fabulous as Tina. She belts out song after song throughout the show.
Fantastic physical show. Want to see again once I’ve saved up
Absolutely brilliant,can’t say no more.
Tina was fantastic, however it was the first musical we have ever been to where you are not allowed to sing or clap along. If you are able to dehumanise yourself for the evening this is the musical for you, however if you’re hoping to engage and enjoy yourself this isn’t the musical for you!
Lovely performance, however, I was a little disappointed that the audience were asked not to sing during the performance, but we would have the opportunity to do so at the end. It just put a damper on the whole night really. But on the whole, a lovely evening was had by all.
Myself and 3 friends came all the way from Orkney to see Tina the musical and we all agreed it’s the best musical we have ever seen, the dancing and singing were out of this world ,it was well worth coming south for AMAZING 😍😍😍
Fantastic! What a show
The best show we have every seen. A must see
I laughed, i cried, i danced but mostly i was gripped. Costumes, singing, acting...... all totally on point. Only bad bit was that i ended. Loved every second
Brilliant show .I loved every bit of it . Enjoyed being a leader to join in in the singing at the end
it was brilliant 2nd time I have seen it from the man at the door to your staff inside great thank you
The show was amazing we saw the matinee on 13th July and the cast were fantastic! We didn't want it to end! Tina you were outstanding and young Tina you are a super star and I know you will go far! We left the theatre buzzing - Simply the Best!
Fantastic! Loved every minute of the show.
It was great to see in a musical her life story very moving
Terrific show. WOW DANCING SINGING CHOREOGRAPHY ALL AMAZING INCLUDING AUDIENCE PARTICIPATION. A MUST SEE FOR ALL.
Went to see Tina this weekend. Brilliant show. Lead actress brilliant singer. Had a fab night. If you are wondering if you should go and see this show, don’t hesitate. We’ve been to see Tina herself on her last ever show so didn’t know what to expect. It was cheaper to see Tina herself having said that! One thing of note, don’t sit on the front row as had a bit of a stiff neck by the end as the actors/actresses come right to the edge so permanently looking up.
Most of us know the story of Anna Mae or Tina Turner. The show was a stark reminder of the early days that so many won't know about. But wow the music, the portrayal of a life I really never knew humbled me. A vibrant amazing show wonderful music. I personally like the music and I would without a doubt go again to the show.
This show is excellent, was very moving,
