Really loved our evening watching this unique theatrical experience. Fabulous acting, and great atmosphere. Not to be missed.
Great story, so well acted and kept you guessing. Absolutely must for thisecthat enjoy who dunnits.
Fantastic night. Great acting any the sound choices and quality was especially impressive.
Loved the play. Totally different to what we have seen before. Great being so close to everything.
What a show! Amazing acting, full of twists and turns right up to the end! I would do recommend this show.
We went for my daughter’s Birthday treat and had a lovely evening. I’d heard excellent review so was keen to go. We sat in Row A. Probably was a little close to the stage! Right on top of it and felt actors could fall on to you (but they obviously didn’t!) and being in the front row there was no table to rest your drink as there was from Row B upwards. So I would recommend Row B if either of these things bother you. Otherwise Row A very good! The cast are excellent. Great enthusiasm. It’s not a long play. Finished before 10pm. Only negative was the staff. Some were very friendly. But I felt we were rushed / escorted off the premises as soon as the play was over!! Why do they think they are more special than any other theatre in London that it has to be locked up immediately after the finish. We hadn’t even finished our drink from the interval and I was almost locked up and lights turned off in the toilet. A shame as this did put a dampener on the evening for sure. Toby the staff member needs to be less official and a little more relaxed after the show please. Thank you! But I would definitely recommend the play!
Incredible performance, amazing location and a fabulous story line. One of the best shows I’ve ever seen in London and in such a unique setting.
Wonderfully played
We took our 16 year old twins, they loved it, as did we.
An exceptional afternoon watching Witness for the Prosecution. Each and every actor, scene and the setting made the afternoon entertaining and fun. Many congratulations to all involved, Thank you.
Great nights entertainment. Highly recommended
We enjoyed the performance very much but I must say the seating upstairs was the most uncomfortable 2 hours we have ever spent in twenty five years of theatre. Performance superb, comfort poor. Recommended.
We know Agatha Christie plays always have a twist and this is no exception. Loved the production & setting. Well acted. The time flew by as you were absorbed by the trial.
Brilliant idea and execution! We were totally absorbed by the story and were surprised when intermission started! Totally recommend going since it’s excellent theatre with a new look
A good production of a great play. The setting really helped
The show was great, spoiled by having seats in the balcony and being partially disabled having to climb 6 flights of stairs. The seats were so uncomfortable that my partner and I moved After first half to vacant seats down stairs. She came home with a backache. There should be a warning about the stairs and the seats! David
Really gripping and entertaining production in an atmospheric setting all the way to the end Very clever ending and well acted My whole family of all ages have now seen the production and all voted 5 stars Richard Carpenter
Real enactment of a AC plot. Actors were phenomenal. Did not predict the twist and was eye opening about human behaviour. The seats were a bit uncomfortable and could have done with more variety of snacks during the break.
Highly recommend this show!
Fabulous.
Very good.
Really enjoyed this play. Loved the layout of the theatre. I would recommend this play wonderful cast.
Thoroughly enjoyed the show and was totally engrossed from start to end. Acting was top draw and totally believable. The location adds to the whole experience. My only criticism is that a couple of scenes were a little hard to hear despite being in row A South Gallery.
The play was absolutely out of this world. My 15-year-old daughter and I enjoyed it very much, especially the setting, which was so different from a regular theatre. A really magnificent experience, highly recommended!
Thoroughly enjoyed Witness for the Prosecution and the atmospheric setting of County Hall greatly added to the enjoyment of this Agatha Christie classic.
Hugely fun and escapist afternoon! Production is seamless - from lighting, staging, sound, acting to overall direction. Plot is a cracker! Lead actor is very handsome which also helped.... Don’t miss it :-)
We enjoyed it. But the ending is rushed/contrived to fit the theatre and the young actor playing the defendant was almost inaudible from our seats in the first scenes. Otherwise great!
The venue is amazing, performances are sharp. Plenty to discuss at the interval.
Good old fashioned murder mystery with a tense court room drama
Overall a decent play. Acting generally good but the fella playing Vole wasn’t great sadly. The ending was a bit silly but I suppose we have to blame Agatha for that. Theatre was well set up and the defence barrister and judge were excellent. Vole’s wife was also a bit weak we thought.
Due to a viral infection I missed the performance along with my friends. We were so looking forward to it! However I have heard through the grapevine it’s one not to miss. I only hope I get the opportunity to see it soon!
Great show with a classic Agatha Christie twist. If you can afford it though, sit in the main theatre area - great tamosphere, but best in lower seats.
Thoroughly enjoyable and would highly recommend.
Flawless - best play we 've ever seen!
The whole experience was amazing from the stunning setting to the fantastic performances. I would 100% recommend this show.
Really shining performances from the whole ensemble. Fantastic location. Recommend this all the way.
A wonderful venue, brilliant cast, superb acting and of course with Agatha spell binding story. Thankyou for a lovely performance.
Enjoyed it so much last year we decided to watch it again while it’s still possible
Really enjoyable - great acting and a big surprise at the end! Very good, not a dull moment.
As usual, Agatha Christie's excellent plot. Interesting twists. Super acting. Fantastic venue. Highly recommend this play.
A fantastic production and setting leaves you guessing until the end. Great cast really enjoyable
Went to see this play last week and thought it was well performed and very entertaining.
An excellent play, well acted. Surroundings great
A well written play performed by an excellent cast, played out in very atmospheric surroundings. My wife and our friends would highly recommend it a must see.
What a fabulous show. The setting just makes the show so special, sitting in comfy leather chairs in a U shape around the action. When you first walk into the room it blows you away. The show itself is amazing. Well cast and so very well staged. Took my 11 year old son who loved it too. Cant reccomend this production enough.
Very good interpretation of the storey, really well acted, especially Lewis Cope, playing Vole - such emotion and expression during the trial scene.
Wonderful setting, with a great performance. Really was a great night.
We bought the tickets late, so got two with restricted view. However, that did not spoil our experience of the show. It was well done and the cast was impressive. Would recommend.
Stunning environment for the play - seats so roomy - felt like being in a courtroom. Brilliant acting from a all the legals - convincing! Loved interactive jury - left wondering if play has at least two or three possible endings. Highly recommended
Fabulous
