Amazing setting and fabulous performance
Really enjoyed this show - atmosphere was great. Had excellent seats that were very comfortable.
Stunning venue. Brilliant action. Exciting pace. All in all a fabulous experience.
Obviously a great story by the best writer ever of crime fiction. Superb location too. A timeless classic performed by a very good ensemble cast.
This was so much fun! It was in a real court room and you got to experience it like you were watching the case. Lots of twists and turns. Definitely recommend, not sure if you would ever experience anything like this.
I’ve seen about 15 different Agatha Christie plays over the years and this is by far the best. Gripped me all the way through even though I knew the ending!!
A brilliant story acted extremely professionally by a great team of actors. The setting was very atmospheric and the set changes were executed well choreographed. Audience participation by the jury worked well.
This play was absolutely fantastic from the setting to the acting it had me on the edge of my seat. Simply RIVETING
Great show and performance definitely worth catching if your in London
The play was excellent brilliant location only reason I gave it 4 stars rather than is the seating in the gallery very uncomfortable
Thoroughly enjoyed this production in a very atmospheric setting, creatively set. Despite sitting high up heard every word.
Amazing show and had me gripped from the start! Couldn’t wait for the interval to be over to get back into the story zone. First time seeing a play and looking to book the next one. Actors were fantastic. Highly recommended to all friends and family. 5 ⭐️
Thoroughly enjoyed this show; (bonus that we got upgraded from cheapest seats to very nice ones!) Well worth a visit.
Setting was amazing. The four of us found the first half too heavy on dialogue and somewhat slow. We had good seats but it was difficult to understand what people were saying at times. In Honestly the first half was really boring. Second half was more interactive, dramatic and abit of humour injected. Overall disappointing and tickets were very expensive for quality of the show.
Absolutely amazing show and venue! Didn’t really know what to expect but certainly was not disappointed, and will be recommending it to everyone!
The show is phenomenal. Lots to follow and lots of twists and turns, classic Agatha Christie. The actors are brilliant, playing to every part of the room and the set design combined with suspenseful music was thrilling. Very much enjoyed it, in my opinion it rivals the Mousetrap. Highly recommend whilst you have the chance. Our only critique (aside from the london prices and the annoyance of drinking wine from a plastic glass), would be the theatre is very chilly. It's an old building so very much to be expected and we went at the end of February, so again somewhat expected - but it was cold.
Excellent performance!
An excellent performance in an inspired setting. Struggled with hearing some of the performance, particularly the more passionate speeches from seats quite close to the stage - words became quite blurred
Excellent production all round
Bit of a giveaway right from the start.
Wonderful night. Exciting all the way through. You absolutely feel part of the action.
A fantastic night out, the cast were amazing and the performance drew you in right from the start. A must see.
We had an excellent evening seeing this play - so clever to perform in a court room! Adds great atmosphere. Fabulous acting. Well worth seeing!
Brilliant. Amazing evening. Enjoyed the twist! But my lips are sealed 😄
Really enjoyed the play Have seen tv and film versions but still couldn’t remember the ending although I true Agatha Christie style lots of twists and turns Imaginative use of the building

Excellent play, County Hall, is the ideal setting for Witness For The Prosecution. The actor playing ‘Lenny’ was superb.
Acting, lighting, sound - all very good. Unexpected ending! The County Hall is a perfect setting for this trial but the seats are very uncomfortable and the upper gallery ones very hard to get into. No lift access to gallery and many stairs - be warned.
What a wonderful performance and definitely recommend
We really enjoyed the play, which had a nice twist at the end
Unique location in London County Hall chambers - adds to the atmosphere. Very good acting and typical Agather Christie plot. Excellent experience/
Typical Agatha Christie you never know till the end Worth the visit
We enjoyed our afternoon at County Hall, an ideal setting for an Agatha Christie play with a double twist. I can't say any more - you must go and see for yourself, the Council Chamber itself is worth a visit on its own.
The setting was perfect for the play and the use of the space was really clever. The two simple sets were very effective as was the use of sound. I really enjoyed the whole thing - would definitely recommend.
We loved this play. Acting is excellent - venue is perfect. It feels quite intimate so the view is good no matter where you sit (watch out for the restricted view seats, the lady on my right had a marble pillar in front of her but didn’t pay much for her ticket)
Very enjoyable show in a great venue. Acting was great! My only slight critique would be that it was difficult to hear some of the actors. We were very close and still had trouble sometimes. Not sure how easy it would be to hear in the galleries? Overall, really fun night and the door and bar staff are very helpful.
Missed the performance because of Storm Ciara. Gutted. Will book again.
This is the second time I have seen Witness for the Prosecution and, once again, enjoyed it very much.
The cast and performances outstanding loved the ending. Would recommend to all
We thoroughly enjoyed this production. The setting of the theatre is perfect for Agatha Christie's courtroom drama. I will come back to see it again
I may be slightly biased, as my brother performs in the play, but I've been twice now and loved it both times. Looking forward to going again soon. Fabulous venue, very unique setting, and very cleverly crafted to suit the surroundings. Performances by all were superb. Highly recommended.
Excellent production, well executed.
Absolutely fantastic. Enjoyed it from start to finish.
Fantastic you really become immersed in the play you won’t be disappointed
The first half is slow and the set up a little long, however, the second half makes up for it at the pinnacle of the show. It's an excellent play despite the first half, would definitely recommend.
Excellent show.We enjoyed every second.Well done to all the actors. It was very atmospheric. What a fabulous setting. It left us guessing until the last minute.
It’s a nice experience, the audio quality must improve in the higher seats, and the play is good, entertain but it’s not fantastic or exceptional.
Lovely atmosphere and setting.Sad that 3 main actors had mild speech impediments.Actress playing German wife wasunintelligible as a cockney. Acoustics excellent.Cast worked hard. Disappointing.
This was something I had not seen before. an interesting take on a murder mystery. Definitely worth seeing but be warned it is very warm up in the public gallery.
We both really enjoyed the production, the use of the stage was great and the story very engaging
