  • Disappointed

    24 June 2019

Please do not visit this show if you expect " the story of Michael Jackson" It is a cabaret show with a cast of males and females , different shapes and sizes, singing Michael Jackson songs. I found it dull and boring with only one act who managed to resemble Jackson well for four songs If you want a cabaret show you may be satisfied but otherwise not. The costumes resemble Wham from the 80's apart from three acts, the choreography does not copy Jackson .All in all a waste of money

  • An enjoyable watch!

    23 June 2019

Not too much story telling and mainly just Michael Jackson’s best hits with dancing, which suited me just perfect. Act 1 was good but Act 2 smashed it out the park! My partner and I both enjoyed it so much that we would like to see it again!

  • Missing the Michael J magic

    23 June 2019

Thought it was a tribute to MJ but would have been nice if they talked about the songs, why and how he wrote them, before dancing to it. More insights on his life and work would have made the show much more memorable. The show has no story to tell and is more of a series of non connected dances. I also think the moves were not in MJ’s era. And some of the lead performers were either just singers or dancers but usually not both. The use of a female lead singer (probably to get the same sound) was too distracting and deviates from the image of Michael J as a singer. The little boy was a bit self-conscious and can work on more energy and engagement. I expected much more. The audience participation seemed... not too spontaneous. I did not feel the thrill and energy.
