Customer Reviews
I booked tickets and cancelled before it was announced Pandemic. 6 emails all ignored. Then told that despite the fact that i had paid for the cancellation protection that the promoters had said i cannot have my money back they did say that i could do what i wanted with the tickets , but that was on the afternoon of the show. requests for the cancellation wording and details of th promoters have been ignored
Show was as expected but seats were not those ordered despite full price being charged. Paid nearly £240 for good seats, got mediocre seats with ticket price as printed of £99 each.
Extremely enjoyable performance. Very well acted. Love the twist at the end.
The acting was superb and the story amazing.
Thoroughly enjoyed the performance great acting!! Didn’t see the twist at the end coming brilliant!
Performance good but struggled to hear at times
Intriguing and surprising. Very amusing.
Really enjoyed watching r Mousetrap...very cute theatre...helpful staff...and of course, great performance.
Such a wonderful play and performance. If only the audience would respect it better by taking their seats on time and not rustling noisy food packaging. Would be good if the theatre could take measures to prevent this, because it does spoil the enjoyment.
After having to change my tickets at the last minute (and getting a bit of ticking off by a lady who I e mailed) I found it to be a really enjoyable evening. Sat in Row B seats 4 and 5 and had a lovely view. I am slightly hard of hearing and would have liked it to be a little louder because I did miss bits of what was being said. The actors were brilliant, there were quite a few spare seats in the stalls but the front rows were full. The usual thing of people eating/rustling paper noisily nearby during the show but I am beginning to get used to that in London theatres. My daughter who is 18 thought it was an excellent show so all in all a good experience.
Brilliant! Been meaning to go for years, so glad we did.
Very good seen it twice now it keeps you guessing to the end.
The perfect who dunnit mystery with a plot that keeps you guessing right until the end. Great stage set with wonderful actors. The venue was very easy to get too and centrally located for transport and restaurants. Highly recommend the play and would go again.
I loved the story line although it was so hard to understand the main actress.
Incredible show, all actors absolutely outstanding, especially who played Miss Casewell.
Believe the hype. Agetha at her best. Brilliantly performed.
One of those plays you always say you are going to do, did it and was not disappointed. Performance 28,146 at St Martins theatre, a small and intimate environment with decor which befits the time of the play’s setting. The cast were great, a few laughs as the play progresses and as ever with an Agatha Christie, anybody could be the villain, keeps you guessing as little hints come through until the end when the villain is revealed as...... well you will have to go and see for yourself. Would thoroughly recommend.
Excellent play, and the theatre matched the theme and atmosphere, good seats and the heating was working well on a cold day in January.Very good acting and costumes which related to the era. Would highly recommend this play.
A classic 'must see' & it's longevity speaks for itself. Just drew me into another world for awhile. Great acting, setting & lovely small theatre.
Absolutely superb. Tremendous acting. Wonderful script. I hope this around for another 68 years!! Thoroughly enjoyed it
Been waiting a long time to see this as have a preference for musicals. Great show, better than I expected. Loved the theatre.
There is something quite satisfying when a play which aspires to be a mystery, can exact a collective ‘gasp’ from its audience Well acted - great scenery and a lovely experience
The total experience (theatre &performance) was fab u lous. Very very good.
Actors were fantastic, though the play is sadly showing it’s age. I’m glad I’ve seen it and it’s ticked off my list, but I honestly won’t go back. I love the oldy worldy look of the theatre, however the drinks prices are crazy, even at theatre prices, these were the most expensive drinks I’ve ever paid for!
Excellent acting from all the cast. They kept you wondering, WHO DONE IT Well done. Also the theatre staff were helpful and polite. Highly recommend.
What a fantastic performance. When you consider how long this has been running and yet it still manages to fool its spectators and keep them on the edge of thier seats guessing. Would recommend to anyone that has not yet seen it.
Very good play - intriguing as you would expect from Agatha Christie. The actors were excellent very well acted. Great perfomance
A wonderful theatre emblazoned with the Mousetrap titilates the already bubbling excitement of seeing the longest running play in London. The theatre is cozy, perhaps built for smaller frames but it was comfortable The play was fun. A typical Christie play with several suspects and I didn't guess the culprit.
A great Boxing Day treat for me and my family
Absolutely tremendous for all the ages in our family
Keep on with the record!
Loved it. 68 years! an incredible achievement.
The actors were fine and of course it is a classic story that has now become a part of London Theatre history, however I personally found it lack luster and limited. Theatre was charming though scruffy and if you are over 5ft tall there is no legroom I was a party of three and we all suffered pain as we could not fit our legs behind the seat in front. This may have just been a problem in the upper circle and probably when it was built people were shorter.
Went to the afternoon performance, a very small audience so We were surprised they still do so many shows. It's a very clever who dun it, a little amusing in places but not surprisingly very dated after such a long run.
Was exactly what I expected! Thoroughly enjoyed it all and would recommend going.
We loved the show! It kept us guessing the entire time. All of the actors were wonderful! Glad we made it part of our holiday from the USA.
I saw the mousetrap 38 years ago! Had completely forgotten the storyline and the plot! Bought my 25 year old so with me to watch it. Fantastic storyline and acting. We were kept in suspense to the very end! We both loved it! Well worth seeing. A real classic!
We loved it, we knew the plot but it was better than we expected. So well put together, our 100% attention.
Excellent production, I was unaware of the plot and was enthralled from start to finish. Well done all the actors a play well worth seeing.
Enjoyed the performance thoroughly
Excelant play. Well acted
For a show that is in its 60th year...wow! Cast well, great storyline and the theatre is lovely and quaint.
We thoroughly enjoyed the performance, especially as it was the first occasion that we had been to see The Mousetrap. The atmosphere was great, as the play kept us in suspense as to who was the real villain. Although we had our suspicions during the performance, we were not sure, so the ending was a surprise. Typical Agatha Christie!
I saw it twenty five years ago and again last night - enough time to have forgotten whodunnit! Lovely theatre, great cast and a thoroughly good evening’s entertainment. This show will run on for ever.
Great fun
Great acting. Kept in suspense right up to the end. Would recommend this as a great theatre visit.
The show was as I had hoped and buckets of good old fashioned Englishness!! A lovely old intimate theatre with cute bar at the back of the stalls. Very convenient.
Shame found it very boring, rushing around on stage lots of in and out of doors, stairs, window, story line could have been more better, also scenery in one room is rather boring, seemed senseless talking. Would not book again if friends ask would just put them on warning
I had seen this production about 35yrs ago, decided to go again as had forgotten much of the show ,and of course wanted to see different cast. Was not disappointed, brilliant acting thoroughly enjoyed the whole performance
Was lovely, such a lovely experience in a beautiful theater.Love the whole of the ambience. Was brilliant. Well worth a visit.
